God is Holiness
His eyes are completely pure. His righteousness is indescribable. God can't even look upon evilness, sin, or iniquity. "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."

The Justice of God is Pure
God must punish evil because He is (or loves) holiness. In a courtroom, a judge must punish a murderer because it is his job to protect human life by punishing evil. If the judge didn't punish evil he wouldn't be a righteous judge. In order to love goodness you must also hate evilness.
"For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright." (Isaiah 59:2), (Psalms 7:11-12)
