Take heart—and take matters into your own hands with Swipe
T-minus three days until the weekend. You’ve got the bottle of Champagne, your best outfit laid out, and the steaks ready for grillin’. You’re totally looking your best and have your charming conversation game down pat. There’s just one problem: the weekend is lookin’ solo dolo.
Normally, you could call up any one of your booty calls or buds to share your bounty (who would turn down steak and bubbly with you?) but everyone’s already scrambled to pair off and you’re finding yourself short of any fun weekend plans. What’s a person to do?
Take heart—and take matters into your own hands. Swipe’s newest feature “Moments” is the newest mobile dating innovation with a brand new system designed to connect users with right people at the right time. (Yes, we mean both new pals and new partners!)
The world of online dating can be time-consuming and stressful. “Online dating is just as murky and full of lemons as finding a used car in the classifieds. Once you learn the lingo, it’s easier to spot the models with high mileage and no warranty,” Laurie Perry.
Moments with Swipe, however, is all about creating a community that brings users out of the digital world and back into real life that we often forget exists. Swipe uses smart indicators to ensure you the most relevant moments to you. You’re guaranteed to find an interesting moment happening in your area that you can join in on.
Here’s how it works: You can create a moment using the app by simpling sharing what you’re up to or what you’re looking to do. A moment can consist of text and/or pictures that will then be broadcast to other Swipe users in your area. Other users can view your Moments and swipe right if they want join in on the fun. You can see which users liked your moment and start chatting.
It’s like Judsen Culbreth always said: “Internet dating is the fastest, most efficient way to gather a pool of qualified candidates. It could take you a lifetime to do the investigation that the computer comes up with in seconds”
